2017 Kiawah Art & House Tour

April 7, 2017

Many thanks to so many who made the 17th Art & House Tour an unqualified success. Through the extraordinary commitment of Arts, etc. members and the support of the business community, $90,750 will be invested to provide visual and performing arts experiences to the young people of Johns and Wadmalaw Islands. Please see Recipients of 2017 House Tour Funds for more information on the organizations and programs that will be funded.

This successful tour would not have been possible without the gracious spirit and generosity of five Kiawah homeowners. Their hospitality was unparalleled. Guests marveled at the homes’ warmth, architecture and design. Kiawah’s spectacular island views – ocean, marsh and lagoon—combined with breathtaking art made each home a delight to behold.

The tireless co-chairs, committee chairs and hundreds of volunteers made this year’s tour a reality. Vision, hard work and attention to detail made all 500+ guests feel welcome and happy to be part of Arts, etc.’s success.

For the first time, the house tour committee conducted a raffle offering a beautiful work of art. Many thanks to Kevin LePrince, an American Impressionist from Charleston, who donated the much sought after oil painting, After Hours.

Continue to check back on the Arts, etc. website for the date of the 2018 Art & House Tour. The committee selecting homes is busy insuring that the tradition of spectacular Southern charm, stunning architecture, art and design will make next year’s tour one you will not want to miss!
