The Halsey Institute of Contemporary Art showcases adventurous artists who emphasize the historical, social, and cultural importance of today’s art. This year’s project sponsored by Arts, etc. consists of four components: a guided exhibition tour, an artist lecture by Kirsten Stolle, a field trip to the College of Charleston’s Stono Preserve, and an art project inspired by Kirsten Stolle’s work. This educational program for the students at St. Johns High School includes a guided tour of Kristen Stolle’s Halsey Institute exhibition “Only You Can Prevent a Forest.”
