  • Teacher development for Angel Oak ES so that teachers can deliver arts-based curriculum
Chamber Music Charleston
  • Classical Kids concerts titled “Dream Drum Girl”, celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month for the three elementary schools
  • String Residency Program at Haut Gap MS
  • Collaboration with Charleston Stage on “Of Mice and Mozart”
Charleston Gaillard Center
  • Performances at the Charleston Gaillard Center of its 2024-2025 Education Season for Angel Oak ES, Frierson ES, Mt. Zion ES, Haut Gap MS, and St. John’s HS accompanied by pre and post performance workshops
Charleston Jazz
  • Weekly Melodica lessons at Angel Oak ES
  • Jazz Combo classes at Haut Gap MS and St. John’s HS
  • Charleston Jazz Express concerts at Angel Oak ES, Haut Gap MS, and St. John’s HS
Charleston Stage
  • Performances of “A Year with Frog and Toad” at Dock Street Theatre for Angel Oak, Frierson, and Mt. Zion ES accompanied by pre and post performance workshops
  • Collaboration with Chamber Music Charleston on “Of Mice and Mozart,” a 30-minute musical performed by Mt. Zion ES students
Charleston Symphony Youth Orchestra
  • Trip to New York City for 54 students in Charleston and neighboring areas to perform at Carnegie Hall
College of Charleston School of the Arts Children’s Opera
  • Performances of “Goldie B. Locks and the Three Singing Bears” at the three elementary schools
Engaging Creative Minds
  • Masterclass for Mt. Zion ES
Gibbes Museum of Art
  • Open House Night for Angel Oak ES
Palmetto City Ballet
  • “Creating a Ballet” assembly program for the three elementary schools
PURE Theater
  • After-school theatre programs at Haut Gap MS and St. John’s HS
Yo Art!
  • Digital Photography class at Mt. Zion ES

Arts, etc. welcomes applications for funding from non-profit organizations based in Charleston and its environs. To learn more about the application process, requirements and deadlines please contact us at:  info@kiawahartsetc.org

If you are a Charleston based not for profit arts organization who would like to become an Arts, etc. Program Partner, please read over the FAQs sheet and complete the Certification Form.

The 3 step Program Partner Funding Procedure

Step One

Complete this form to apply for program funding.  Use a separate application for each program.

Step Two

Complete this form once dates have been locked in with the school – funding will be distributed once this form has been received.

Step Three

Complete this form once the program has been fully delivered.
