Arts, etc.-Sponsored Programs 2026-2027:

ArtsNOW
  • Professional development partnership focused on arts integration strategies for educators, including implementation support and classroom materials.
Chamber Music Charleston
  • Supports interactive in-school classical music performances tied to the story Mercedes and the Chocolate Pilot, combining live music, storytelling, and projected visuals for elementary students.
  • Supports a strings residency at Haut Gap Middle School with professional musicians providing in class instruction and technical support for student string players
Charleston Gaillard Center
  • Supports barrier-free arts education experiences for students across Johns Island schools through live performances, arts-integrated workshops, literacy residencies, transportation, and in-school programming. Programs connect curriculum with professional arts experiences while expanding access to cultural enrichment opportunities.
Charleston Jazz
  • Supports jazz education programs including melodica instruction, jazz combo training, live  performances, Jazz Day for Kids participation, and student access to professional Charleston Jazz  Orchestra concerts. Programs serve elementary through high school students.
Charleston Stage
  • Provides fully funded theater field trips and arts-integrated workshops for K–2 students at Johns Island Elementary, Frierson Elementary, and Angel Oak Elementary. Funding covers transportation, tickets, and classroom workshops tied to Pete the Cat: The Musical
College of Charleston School of the Arts Children’s Opera
  • Brings children’s opera performances into elementary schools, using music and storytelling to reinforce literacy and creative engagement for K–5 students.
Palmetto City Ballet
  • Provides in-school ballet demonstrations and educational discussions introducing students to storytelling through movement, dance history, and live performance.
PURE Theater
  • After-school Youth Company theatre programs at Haut Gap MS and St. John’s HS
Yo Art!
  • Provides culturally responsive STEAM arts education including filmmaking, photography, graphic  design, coding, AI exploration, fiber arts, and 3D printing for underserved youth.

Become a Program Partner

If you are a Charleston based not for profit arts organization who would like to become an Arts, etc. Program Partner, please read over the FAQs sheet and complete the Certification Form.

Complete this form to apply for program funding.  Use a separate application for each program.

Step Two

Complete this form once dates have been locked in with the school – funding will be distributed once this form has been received.

Step Three

Complete this form once the program has been fully delivered.
